Hi facilitators,

One of our group members in Sydney has reached out for some assistance in organising a pamper session:

"Hi Matthew

I would like to know if you know anyone who can do a pamper session .

I have a group of grandparents as carers who would like to be pampered and I wanted to know if there was anyone I could contact."

My question for the group is: Have you ever organised a pamper session? How did you find your pamperers?

Thanks

From a facilitator

"it has been a few years since I organised a pamper session for a carers group, but I found my pamperer through the Body Shop, who have a commitment to volunteering and did a great job - hand massages etc"

Thanks =)

From a facilitator -

"I have, on a number of occasions, organised groups to go to the Langham in Kent St, City. We had a package where they had high tea after….fabulous.

If money is an issue then: Australian Academy of Beauty and Spa Therapy (I personally have not been but a colleagues attends regularly) "

Thanks.

Hi Matt,
We have had someone come and do a pamper session previously from The Body Shop (Retail shop usually in Westfield)
Not sure if they still do this. You can phone and ask them.
You can also get in touch with your local Tafe.
There is one close to us that has students studying Beauty Therapy who can do pamper sessions for free or a small fee
Good Luck,
Irene
