Auslan Afternoons welcomes parents of children with hearing impairment or deafness (and their siblings!) who are interested in learning to sign. We also welcome hearing impaired and Deaf parents and their children. Please join us for Afternoon tea and a chat, as well as an informal Auslan lesson by a qualified Deaf teacher. Beginners welcome! There is a craft for the kids and a large play area with toys and a qualified volunteer child minder (who signs!) FREE
